Christmas Chary

It’s soon that time of year when we’re more likely to leave a few presents on the back seat of our car. For we’ll only be away for a short time.
It’s when we might relax and not have our purse or wallet secure from pickpockets.
It’s when we may have have treated ourselves to a new TV or other large electrical / electronic purchase and have left outside the obvious large empty box, for recycling.
It’s perhaps a time when we go away for a few days, and cannot recall if we left the alarm on and the auto on and off lighting.
We’ll all be merrier if we’ve taken a wee bit extra care, as we should do any time we’re away, to make life less merry for thieves.
And on our jolly nights out it’s best that we don’t use unlicensed taxis. Best too to remember that if we can no longer count how many fingers we have, then we’ll be an easier target for crime.
