Partnership Action Days (PADs)

Partnership Action Days offer the public the chance to see how the agencies of the Spelthorne Safer Stronger Partnership work together to tackle community safety issues such as crime and anti social behaviour.

These one-day events are held across Spelthorne every three months, visiting the towns of Ashford, Staines, Stanwell, Shepperton and Sunbury.

At these events, there are various exhibitions from the agencies taking part, giving out free information and advice about crime prevention. home security, personal safety, fire safety and health.

These events also provide an opportunity for residents and members of the business community to talk to officers about local issues.

At the same time, enforcement action and other activities are carried out such as speed checks, vehicle inspections, visits to licensed premises, truancy patrols, litter picks and graffiti removal.

Community Safety and the fear of crime is shown to be one of the principal concerns of local residents and these events are an important way of bringing key people together.

Key agencies of the Partnership include Surrey Police, Spelthorne Borough Council, Surrey County Council, Surrey Fire and Rescue Services and Spelthorne Neighbourhood Watch.
