Who We Are

Spelthorne Neighbourhood Watch (SNHW) is a volunteer organisation with over 180 NHW Co-ordinators across the borough who administer a watch for their road.  The role is not onerous and we always welcome new Co-ordinators and watches so we can increase the number of homes covered.

SNHW is overseen by a small steering group of chairman, deputy chairman, treasurer and area co-ordinators, elected each year from the membership.

We are supported by PC Mark Howells, North Surrey Crime Reduction Officer,  and Linda Kempton, our part-time Administrator who ensures the dissemination of information and materials to co-ordinators, sets up and manages start-up meetings for new Watches and generally acts as a focal point. Linda is based at the council’s offices and this ensures close contact with the police and on local issues.
